Aimee Copeland will speak at Angel Gala in Buckhead
Survivor of flesh-eating disease will share message of hope, empowerment with group that advocates for the disabled.

Friends of Disabled Adults And Children will hold its fourth annual Angel Gala on Saturday.
The guest speaker of the event will be Aimee Copeland, who made headlines in May 2012 when she contracted a flesh-eating bacteria during a zip-lining incident. Fast forward four years and Copeland is living life to the fullest -- and encouraging others to face their battles head-on.
FODAC is a charity organization that advocates for the disabled by facilitating their use of medical equipment such as wheelchairs and hospital beds.

The event will be held at Seraphim Skin Care's Miami Circle location in Buckhead and will feature live jazz, drinks and a buffet from Greater Good Barbecue. Additionally, all Seraphim products will be 20% off.
There is no cover charge but patrons are encouraged to donate.

As for dress code, Seraphim founder-owner Lil Dyer Cobbs said, βWeβre going vintage,β encouraging attendees to take a page from yesteryear.
