The famous and popular pizza shop with the cult-like following, Antico Pizza, may be coming to Buckhead, but not anytime too soon.
Although Tomorrow's News Today reports that the pizza restaurant's owner Giovanni Di Palma "is in the midst of finalizing a lease for the former Lime Fresh Mexican Grill space," but Eater Atlanta received an email that the restaurant company "is now "focusing on the recent opening of Caffe Gio, the construction of Piazza San Gennaro and our new venture at Avalon in Alpharetta."
If Antico did open in the former Lime spot, at West Paces Ferry Road and Early Street, it would be in prime spot with the new Restoration Hardware megastore going up in the former ESPN Zone property and just across the road from the massive billion-dollar mixed-use development project, Buckhead Atlanta.
