Art on the Atlanta BeltLine Readies for Fifth Year

Art on the Atlanta BeltLine recently announced its call for artists for the 2014 exhibition. This will mark the fifth year the program has been presenting visual and performing art along more than eight miles of the Atlanta Beltline corridor.
The largest temporary art project in the history of Atlanta, Art on the Atlanta BeltLine seeks to include visual artists, performers, musicians and historic preservationists; placing working professionals alongside emerging artists.

When: Sunday, April 6, 3:00 p.m.
Where: WonderRoot, 982 Memorial Drive, Atlanta, 30316
All materials must be received by 5:00 pm on Wednesday April 21, 2014.

Artists are notified by June after a jury reviews all submissions. Fabrication, installation and rehearsals go on through the summer. The exhibit kicks off in September and runs through the second week of November.
