Back To School: Buckhead 2021-22 School Calendar

ATLANTA — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Atlanta, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Atlanta Public Schools.

The first day of school for public school students in Buckhead is Aug. 5.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Atlanta.

APS has announced mandatory masking for students and staff while indoors for the 2021-2022 school year.

First Day: Aug. 5

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 22-26

Winter Break: Dec. 2 - Jan. 3

Spring Break: April 4-8

Last Day: May 26
