Buckhead Coalition To Provide Free Wills To Residents
Buckhead Coalition has launched a free program to provide wills to area residents.

ATLANTA, GA -- If you're a senior citizen in the Buckhead community, one of the district's most recognizable organizations wants to do you a solid by providing free will forms. The nonprofit Buckhead Coalition has launched the free program with help from MBA students looking to make a difference.
Spurred by the death of music superstar Prince, who didn't have a will and left his estate to sort through scores of people claiming to be heirs, the coalition wanted to make sure that elderly Buckhead residents had their affairs in order. Referring to statistics that indicate that up to 64 percent of adults did not have a will, Coalition President Sam Massell opined that many people just don't want to talk about their demise. βIt might be procrastination, but lawyers interviewed believed most just didnβt want to address the subject of mortality, or were concerned it was prohibitively expensive.β

MBA students at the J. Mack Robinson College of Businessβ Buckhead Campus will help out with the free will program, which includes a recommendation that each client retain the services of an attorney for more complex estates.
