  1. Buckhead Creepy Crawl has been scheduled for Oct. 29. A ticket costs $30 and includes complimentary admission into all participating bars and restaurants in the Buckhead entertainment district.   2. The Buckhead Community Improvement District is analyzing plans for a bicycle-pedestrian bridge across Lenox Road and Georgia 400. The concept is meant to increase the area's walkability. The concept report is expected to be completed next month with a period of public comment. (SaportaReport)
  3. A Morgan County jury heard opening statements in a high-profile child molestation case on Monday. Edward Dwayne Bell, 58, has been charged with 3 counts of child molestation, 1 count of aggravated child molestation, and 3 counts of sexual battery against a child. A 14-year-old child also testified on Monday. The court expects the trial to last at least through today. (Morgan County Citizen)
