Buckhead Crime Blotter: CVS Robbed; Car Break-in Duo Apprehended

The following police reports were filed May 26-June 1 by Zone 2 of the Atlanta Police Department and submitted to Buckhead Patch. During this period, the zone filed 94 police reports. All information is presumed to be accurate. Buckhead Patch is providing some of the reports filed in this blotter.

Robbery-Commercial at CVS, 3401 Northside Parkway NW

5/26/13 at 11:56 p.m.

A man wearing all black and a black hoodie with fur around the collar went inside the location with a handgun and told the clerk to take him to the safe, which was located in the back of the store. The suspect took $5,000.  

Larceny from Auto, Buckhead AMC at 3340 Peachtree Road NE

5/30/13 at 10 a.m.

Two men were apprehended after being observed breaking into vehicles in the parking deck. 

Auto Theft, Peachtree Road United Methodist Church at 3180 Peachtree Road NE

6/1/13 at 12:01 a.m. 

An unknown suspect stole the victim's car. The victim locked his car keys in the car and then left to go to a bar. When he returned, his car was gone. ACIC confirmed that the vehicle had not been towed. Victim stated that he was up to date on all payments. No signs of forced entry. No witnesses. There was a camera in the church parking lot. 

Larceny from Auto, 215 Wieuca Road NW

5/27/13 at 2 p.m.

An unknown suspect smashed the windows on victim's vehicles and stole a purse from each vehicle. 

Larceny from Auto, 2809 Peachtree Road NE

5/28/13 at 9:30 p.m.

An unknown suspect broke out the rear passenger window on the victim's vehicle, entered and stole a briefcase containing a Dell laptop and iPad. No suspects. 

Other Larceny at Havana Night Club at 3112 Piedmont Road NE

5/28/13 at 1 a.m.

Victim placed her purse on the counter and turned away. Upon returning, the purse was missing. The victim's green card, Social Security card, driver's license, iPhone, debit card, wallet and $150 in cash were taken. The victim's debit card was used twice at a Kroger in Snellville.
