Buckhead Crime Blotter: Walgreens Shoplifter Pulls Knife on Employee; Suspects Rob Barbershop Customers at Gunpoint

Robbery-Commercial, Walgreens at 2893 Peachtree Road NE
7/31/13 at 12:20 p.m.
The suspect entered the location, selected merchandise and passed all points of sale without paying. The employee chased after the fleeing suspect, and the suspect pulled a knife on the employee. There have been no arrests made at this time.
Larceny from Auto, 3090 Roswell Road NW
7/31/13 at 4:15 p.m.
An unknown suspect jimmied the door on the victim's vehicle and stole a $3,000 Chanel bag and a $650 iPad from the vehicle.
Robbery-Commercial, Sunoco Palmers gas station at 2060 Peachtree Road
8/3/13 at 8:22 a.m.
The cashier was conducting an inventory of the store and returned to the unlocked cashier's booth when he was met by suspect #1, who had a handgun in his right hand and gave instructions to the cashier. The cashier removed a cash drawer and dumped $913 into the suspect's sack. While this was taking place, suspect #2 entered the store and went to the rear office/storage area, turned off the power and shot one round from his gun. Suspect #1 told the cashier they were not playing around and wanted the cash from the safe. The cashier was not able to open the safe and was told to call her boss to get the safe's code. The cashier made the call, but was still unable to open the safe. The suspects ran out to the rear of the store.

8/2/13 at 8 a.m.
An unknown suspect stole the victim's license plate from her car.
Robbery-Commercial, Headmaster Barber Shop at 3255 Peachtree Road
7/31/13 at 9:30 p.m.
Three men entered the barbershop, and a man wearing all white said he wanted a haircut. Then, right behind him, two other men with guns told each person to empty their pockets and told a victim to remove his necklace and ring. One suspect said, "Y'all already know what it is. Put everything in your pockets on the floor." The men took two cell phones, a wallet, two driver's licenses, about $1,600 in cash. Then they ran out and jumped into a silver 2010 Dodge Ram.
