Buckhead Is Getting A New Thai Restaurant

New venture is from Atlanta restaurateur DeeDee Niyomkul, who owns Tuk Tuk Thai Food Loft in Buckhead.

BUCKHEAD, GA -- A metro Atlanta Thai food empire is making plans to expand with a new Buckhead restaurant, Patch has learned.

The new eatery, Chai Yo, is reportedly slated to open at 3050 Peachtree Road in Two Buckhead Plaza.

Behind the venture is executive chef and entrepreneur DeeDee Niyomkul, who comes from a family of successful Atlanta restaurateurs.

DeeDee already owns a lauded Thai eatery in Brookwood Plaza shopper center in south Buckhead called Tuk Tuk Thai Food Loft.

This time she's partnering with her mother, Nan Niyomkul of Tamarind Seed and Nan Thai Fine Dining, according to Tomorrow's News Today.

The eatery will be housed in the space formerly occupied by J. Christopher’s space, which closed earlier this year.
