Monday

Magic Mondays: This monthly program for toddlers and preschoolers ages 18 months to five years, engages kids in activities that introduce them to history in creative ways. Each Magic Monday has a unique theme and includes a guided exploration of one of the exhibits, historic houses, or award-winning gardens, as well as demonstrations, arts and crafts projects, and story time.

PROJECT13 the 2013 day of change: This highly anticipated multicultural event, presented by UPTOWN Magazine in conjunction with MarketingCamp LLC and SEMAJ Consulting,  was created to acknowledge and support 13 selected nonprofit organizations and campaigns dedicated to impacting the lives of those in need in the Atlanta community.

Crash Course Divorce: For individuals contemplating or facing separation or divorce, this course provides solid information about the options and avenues through separation and divorce. Additionally, the legal process is demystified and planning strategies are explained.  If you just want to get a handle on the basics and some guidance on "what next" and "what's fair," this is the seminar for you.

Wine Tasting at Woodfire Grill: Join Woodfire Grill co-owner and wine director, Nicolas Quinones, and sommelier Patrick Guilfoil for a new monthly wine tasting series. For each tasting, the restaurant pours eight wines focused on a specific theme or region with either Quinones or Guilfoil present to answer any questions. This month’s theme is Nick’s trip to Spain.

Play Chastain Community Design Presentation: Representatives from the Chastain Park Conservancy and Natural Learning Initiative will present the designs.  All interested are invited to attend, learn about the project and provide feedback.
