Bullets Fly in Apparent Road Rage Incident in Buckhead

Atlanta police arrest suspect who allegedly fired into vehicle on Ga. 400.

BUCKHEAD, GA β€” Atlanta police have made an arrest in a case of apparent road rage that left a motorist with bullet holes in his car.

Tyrell Roach, 20, is behind bars after turning himself in to Atlanta police. He is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.

Atlanta police were searching for him and the silver 2012 Nissan Altima he was driving after a motorist said said that he dodged bullets fired from the car on Ga. 400 early Thursday, according to WSB-TV.

The motorist, who asked the TV station not to identify him, said that he believes the incident happened because he delayed a bit too long at a green light before getting on the state highway.

β€œI could see he was already looking at me out of the back of the window. I looked back at him, he looked at me. I kept going and next thing I know, I just start hearing pow, pow, pow,” the driver told WSB.

Roach is scheduled to have a court hearing on Dec. 9, according to WXIA.
