Countdown to Opening Night of Pace Academy's 'Caught in the Net'

Opening night of the Pace Academy Upper School spring play, "Caught in the Net," is two weeks away.

Pace Academy has announced that its new spring play, Caught in the Net, will be opening in just two weeks.Β  According to the Pace website, "tickets go on sale April 15 in the Castle and will go fast. Check out rehearsal photos here and support seniors Ben Hirsch and Alex ParΓ© as they give their farewell performances."

Ray Cooney’s play follows taxi driver John Smith’s efforts to keep his two wives and two families in different parts of London both happy and blissfully unaware of each other. That is until Gavin, son of John and Barbara Smith, ends up meeting Vicki, daughter of John and Mary Smith, online. Upon discovering that their fathers have the same name and profession, Gavin and Vicki decide they have to meet. Their father enlists the aid of his pal, the not-so-bright Stanley Gardner, to keep them apart. The result is confusion, lies and all sorts of craziness.

Performances will take place April 25 at 7 p.m. and April 26 and 27 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets may be purchased at the Pace Academy front desk during the weeks of April 15 and 22 or at the Fine Arts Center box office prior to performances.
