Most people eat cookies because they taste (so very) good, but at The Cookie Studio, people can eat cookies that taste good and actually help do good in the Greater Atlanta community.
The Cookie Studio owner Barbara O'Neill said she initially opened the cookie bakery in Decatur because she wanted to be able to help give back to the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children, where she volunteered for nearly a decade.
The Cookie Studio moved from its Decatur location of six years to its new home on Pharr Road in Buckhead just a couple months ago.
O'Neill said she chose Buckhead for the new location because she knew the business already had a following there. She and her husband are former Buckhead residents and often are vendors at the popular Peachtree Road Farmers Market.
