Evercare Hospice & Palliative Care in AtlantaΒ was recently awarded accreditation from theΒ Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP)Β under the CHAP Hospice Standards ofΒ Excellence. Serving patients in Atlanta and its surrounding areas, this accreditation demonstrates that Evercare meets and exceeds the industryβs highest nationally recognized standards of quality and care, according to a release from Evercare.
According to the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, 1.5 to 1.6 million people accessed hospice care in 2012, a five percent increase since 2011. With a growing need for hospice services, CHAP accreditation ensures patients in this community receive the highest quality clinical expertise and emotional and spiritual support from dedicated, compassionate care providers.
