Fatal Home Invasion: Hat May Lead to Suspects
The unique hat was worn by one of the suspects who caused an Atlanta man to jump to his death from his apartment balcony Tuesday.

BUCKHEAD, GA -- Atlanta police are hoping that someone recognizes a unique hat worn by one of the suspects involved in a burglary that ended with the death of the apartment’s owner.
Police say the man wearing the hat in the above images was one of three suspects who broke into the third-floor apartment in the Skylofts on Oak Street at roughly 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The owner of the apartment, 51-year-old Jose Greer, called 911 to report the burglary then jumped out of his window to get away. He later died at the hospital.
Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta is offering a $35,000 reward for information that leads police to the identities of the suspect. Contact them by calling 404-577-TIPS (8477), texting “CSA Tip” to CRIMES (274637), or by submitting a tip online. All tips can be made anonymously.
