Five Charged In Buckhead Jewelry Heist, Cobb Home Invasion

Four people were arrested early Friday morning, while another was already in jail on unrelated charges.

ATLANTA -- Five people have been charged in connection with a huge Buckhead jewelery store heist, and the suspects are also facing charges out of Cobb County in connection with a home invasion. Atlanta police said Friday the suspects robbed Icebox Diamond & Watches in Buckhead after the Cobb County home invasion on Feb. 17, 2019.

The arrests were made Friday when, during four people were taken into custody early in the morning. Police said a a fifth person was already in custody at the Fulton County Jail on unrelated charges.

Those arrested are Jose Hernandez Pearson, 28; Tameka Lashon Croskey, 44; Gregory Andrews, 34; and Meisha Sims, 31. The son of Tameka Croskey, Crysell Croskey, 29, is the suspect currently in custody on unrelated charges. All are facing numerous felony charges to include burglary, theft, narcotics and weapon charges. Additional charges will be forthcoming in Cobb County.
