Labat confirmed the break-in to Patch and said only his wifeβs half-empty handbag was taken.

Labat was out at LaPrilla in Buckhead when his rear passenger window was smashed in the restaurant parking lot, according to Instagram site ATLscoop.
The sheriffβs direct message response to the post: βJust goes to show anyone can be a victim,β he wrote.
On his own social media @lifewiththelabats!, Labat will feature a streaming open forum about crime and other subjects Friday at 6 p.m.
In his personal social media post on Friday, he made fun of himself as he invited the public to join in the conversation.
βWeβre talking crime in Atlanta (yes, the Sheriffβs vehicle βgot gotβ last night - smh),β Labat wrote.
