πŸ“° Here are the top stories today in Buckhead:

  1. A job accident injured two construction workers in the 3100 block of Peachtree Drive Northeast. Reportedly, a garage collapsed on them on Wednesday afternoon as they were doing some demolition work. The workers were able to climb out from under debris before firefighters arrived at the scene. (11 Alive)
  2. Did you do business with Vroom, an online car dealership that had customers across the country β€œgoing months and even years without titles for vehicles they purchased on the website?” Restrictive wording on the contract precluded customers from suing; however, one Buckhead resident took Vroom up on the arbitration process clause. We learned on Wednesday that after two years, the customer got not only his title, β€œbut also a more than $20,000 arbitration judgment against Vroom.” On the other side, Vroom went on record saying its β€œfocus has been on improving our titling and registration process with the goal of becoming best-in-class in this category.” (WSB-TV)
  3. The 38th annual Breast Surgery Symposium is scheduled to begin January 27 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead. Three renowned Atlanta surgeons, β€œProgram Chair James Namnoum, M.D., and Program Co-Chair Franklyn Elliott, M.D. and Jonathan Nguyen, M.D. will have prominent roles in the three-day scientific program.” (PR Web)
  4. If you love choirs, check your availability for Friday evening. Scheduled to take place in the Sisters Chapel at Spelman College, you can hear the choirs of the β€œSpelman College Glee Club, Morehouse College Glee Club, Clayton State University, Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church, and Lyke House Catholic Center” perform β€œLift Every Voice and Sing” by Dr. Kevin Johnson. The performance begins at 7 p.m. (Patch)
