Georgia Bulldogs Baseball Camp to Benefit Buckhead's Shepherd Center

Little Leaguers and future Georgia Bulldogs baseball team members can get some instruction from University of Georgia baseball team alumni during a special camp, which will benefit Buckhead's Shepherd Center

The one-day baseball camp for children ages 7-12 will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Aug. 24 and costs $50 per child.

New Georgia head baseball coach Scott Stricklin organized the unique camp, which will take place at Buckhead Baseball at Frankie Allen Park at the corner of Bagley Avenue and Pharr Road (425 Pharr Road).

Participants should provide their own gear, but a limited number of bats and helmets will be available. Check in begins at 8 a.m. on the day of the event at the concession stand. Space is limited.
