Missing Hospital Patient Located (Update)

BUCKHEAD, GA -- Atlanta police have located a hospital patient who discharged himself against medical advice on Wednesday.

Jerry Deck, 44, was found safe on Thursday afternoon, police said. Prior to his re-discovery, he last seen at Piedmont Hospital between 3:45 and 4 p.m. and was reported missing by hospital staff at 5:07 p.m. Deck suffers from encephalopathy and becomes confused due to his condition.

Police said he was last seen wearing a light blue shirt and blue jeans and left the hospital with an IV still in his arm.
