Here are the top three stories today in and around Buckhead:

1. House Beautiful has selected a Chastain Park Tudor home in Buckhead to renovate. The improvement project is part of House Beautiful's Whole Home initiative that was started in 2018. The project will be debuted in the Dec. 6 issue and can be viewed at this link. (MediaPost Communications)
2. Morgan County district court judge Charles Elliott has set Gregory Martin Hill's bail at $1 million for attempted murder charges. Hill tried to run Decatur officer Jack Brown over with a black Jeep Wrangler during an incident on Tuesday, Aug. 16. The incident was recorded through a Ring doorbell system and went viral on social media. Officer Brown is reportedly recovering well and has been discharged from the hospital. (Meaww.com)
3. FARM 2022 is scheduled for Aug. 26 at the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center. The event begins with a cocktail hour between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The exhibits will be available from Aug. 26 through Oct. 29. A wide array of artists will have works on display, including Morgan County's ceramic sculpture artist Elizabeth Collins Hanes. (Clayton News Daily)
