How Did APS Board of Education District 4 Candidates Do in First Candidate Forum?

The North Atlanta Parents for Public Schools held its first meeting of the school year on Wednesday evening and offered the area's first candidate forum for Atlanta Public Schools' Board of Education candidates.

Incumbent District 4 board member Nancy Meister is facing newcomer and former teacher Taryn Chilivis Bowman in the upcoming election. Both were present during Wednesday's forum, along with the candidates from other relevant races, which will affect Buckhead, such as the Seat 8 At-Large.

Incumbent Seat 8 At-Large board member and current BOE Chairman Reuben McDaniel has three challengers: Cynthia Briscoe Brown,Mark Riley and Tom Tidwell.
