ICYMI: Intruder Steals Purse from Buckhead Elementary Teacher
The incident occurred on the afternoon of Aug. 26, according to the police report.

Atlanta police are looking for the man they believe walked into a Buckhead elementary school, entered a classroom, and stole a teacherβs wallet from her purse last week.
A police report claims that the man entered Sarah Smith Elementary School between 4:08 and 4:11 p.m. on Aug. 26 through an unsecured rear door which leads to the school cafeteria. Once inside, the man went upstairs and entered a classroom. Soon after, the man left the classroom, walked down the stairs, and exited the building.

The teacher, who was not in the classroom at the time the man was inside, returned to the room and discovered her wallet was missing from her purse. Police were called. Surveillance camera footage showed the man enter and exit the classroom and the building, according to the report.
