Masked Intruders Steal 2 Vehicles From Buckhead Home

Atlanta police vow to increase patrols after incident this week.

BUCKHEAD, GA -- Three masked men fled a Buckhead home in the family's two cars after the man of the house scared them away, according to news reports.

No one was hurt in the incident, but what has concerned the family -- a couple and their teenage daughter -- is that one of the home invaders dropped a gun while leaving.

The car theft happened about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday on Norfleet Road in northwest Atlanta.
