Where: Lenox Square, 3393 Peachtree Road Northeast, and virtual

When: 8:30-11 a.m., July 4

A Peachtree Road Junior Race is being held at 8 a.m., July 2. For 2023 Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race, Lenox Square will set up a tent at the race's front entrance with freebies and giveaways for runners, mall officials told Patch. The AJC has established a dedicated topic page on its website that includes full event information, including the race route.


What: Look Up Atlanta

Where: Centennial Olympic Park, 265 Park Ave. W., Atlanta

When: 5-10 p.m., July 1

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra is set to perform at 8 p.m. at the gathering. Organizers say additional performances will be announced in the coming weeks. There will be food available at the event. According to Explore Georgia, Look Up Atlanta is the largest metro Atlanta fireworks show.


What: Atlanta's Peach State Block Party

Where: Underground Atlanta, 50 Upper Alabama St., Atlanta

When: 3-10 p.m., July 4

There will be live music, food trucks and games. A fireworks show is planned for nightfall.
