- Lovett faced archrival Westminster for the first time in a postseason football match. At the end of this first-round Class AAA playoff game, Lovett walked away with a 13-6 win against Westminster to even out the series. (MDJOnline.com)
- A fatal one-vehicle crash overnight on I-85 closed all lanes of the highway from 2:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday night. The driver of the vehicle was killed in the crash. Itβs unknown what caused the accident, but the highway has since been reopened to all traffic. (11Alive.com WXIA)
