Man Jumps From Apartment to Avoid Burglars, Dies
Crime Stoppers is offering a $25,000 reward for information that can lead Atlanta police to the burglars.

ATLANTA, GA -- Atlanta police are looking for the burglars who forced a resident to jump to his death from his third story apartment earlier this week.
Jose Greer, 51, was at home in the Skylofts on Oak Street on Tuesday at approximately 8:30 p.m. when burglars tried to break into his home. Greer called 911 to alert police to the break-in, and jumped from his window sometime before police arrived, an incident report states.
Responding officers found Greer on the ground severely injured, but he was able to tell police he jumped from the apartment because the burglars were trying to get in.
