Man Robs Wells Fargo In Buckhead With Handwritten Note
Man gave handwritten note to teller at Buckhead Wells Fargo and walks away with $720, police say.
BUCKHEAD, GA -- Atlanta police are soliciting the public's help in finding a brazen bank robber that walked away from a Wells Fargo in Buckhead with nearly $800.
The incident occurred about 3 p.m. April 11 at the Wells Fargo bank at 2204 Peachtree Road, police said. The robber entered the branch and passed a handwritten note to a teller. Although the thief never displayed a weapon, the teller obeyed the demand note.
After received $720 in $20 bills, the robber fled on foot, heading south on Peachtree. In his swift escape, the perpetrator left a tracking device, which was found next to 2110 Peachtree Road near a shopping center.

The thief is described as a black male age 25-35 and about 5'7 in height with a slim to average build. He has a brown complexion with a trimmed beard/goatee.
He was wearing white shoes, dark pants, a button-up jean shirt over a white tee-shirt and a white Nike ball cap.
