- Jonathan Williams, 33, was arrested on Monday after he reportedly stole an ambulance from Emory University Hospital Midtown at 3:55 a.m. that morning. The man took Atlanta police on a low-speed chase toward north Buckhead and eventually stopped at a Shell gas station on Piedmont Road. Williams was booked at the Fulton County Jail on a $5,000 bond facing multiple charges. (Subscription: The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- Unofficial results from the Nov. 8 election show a majority of Northside voters elected Democratic candidates. The results reported Wednesday evening showed Jason Esteves appeared to have collected the most votes for State Senate District 6, which includes Buckhead. Rep. Betsy Holland appeared to have been re-elected, earning 57.8 percent of the votes against her Republican opponent John Bailey. (MDJOnline.com)
- Atlanta Fire crews were working to put out a large fire at a homeless encampment in Buckhead as of Wednesday evening. The brush fire began around 1:00 p.m. between Lenox Road and Sidney Marcus Boulevard. No injuries were reported as of yesterday evening. (11Alive.com WXIA)
