Metro Atlanta Storm Restoration Underway
Georgia Power has put together a suite of online tools to help you stay better informed during a power outage.
Early this morning, a second round of severe weather, including high winds and rain, interrupted service to more than 50,000 customers. Today's storm caused a great deal of damage in the southern parts of metro Atlanta, including Clayton, Coweta and Henry counties. The storm continues to cause outages as it progresses through the other parts of the state.
Yesterday, we restored service to the nearly 95,000 customers impacted by the prior storm.
