Multiple Generations at Engel & Völkers Buckhead Atlanta
Engel & Völkers Buckhead Atlanta and Engel & Völkers Atlanta North Fulton Take "Family Business" to a New Level.
Buying or selling a home is a significant milestone for most families, and is often intensely personal. Many clients report that their real estate agent became “part of the family” during the process. This family focus extends beyond the clients and into the agency itself at Engel & Völkers Buckhead Atlanta and Engel & Völkers Atlanta North Fulton. The two shops, both owned by Shirley Gary, include a number of advisors who are related to each other, including Joe Gary, who is Shirley Gary’s husband, as well as Ann Ramsey, part owner and Shirley Gary’s mother.
“It’s not entirely unusual for a successful real estate professional to inspire and encourage one or more family members to go into the same profession,” said Kelly Stephens, vice president and managing broker of Engel & Völkers Buckhead Atlanta and Engel & Völkers Atlanta North Fulton. “What’s special for us is that we have such a large number of advisors who are family members, including spouses, as well as parents and adult children. We even have three generations of one family all working together! It just adds depth to the family focus we enjoy and offer our clients through both of our shops.”
In addition to Shirley and Joe Gary and Ann Ramsey, the family members currently working at the two Engel & Völkers shops include:
