  1. On Monday, organizers of the Music Midtown festival announced its cancellation this year. Now, other states are offering their event spaces to host the long-running festival although there’s been no confirmation of the festival relocating. North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper was just one notable person to invite the festival via Twitter to relocate. According to officials, the festival was allegedly canceled in the first place due to Georgia’s new state gun legislation which allows firearms in public spaces.
