  1. There are new details on the fire in the woods that engulfed a large homeless encampment near Buckhead Wednesday afternoon. The City is continuing its efforts to find permanent housing for the hundreds of residents whose homes were destroyed in the fire. One hundred people have been placed in housing, according to Partners for Home. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. (11Alive.com WXIA)
  2. Atlanta icon Charlie Loudermilk's Buckhead mansion is for sale. On Aug. 2, the iconic Atlanta businessman and philanthropist died from the effects of a stroke at the age of 95. Now the estate of Loudermilk, who founded the rent-to-own company Aaron’s, is hitting the market. The mansion is currently listed as "coming soon" for $9,150,000.   3. Police have reported that multiple cars have been ransacked at a Buckhead post office property between last weekend and this past Tuesday. Seven cars were broken into and ransacked over the two days. Employees are worried for their safety. "It's dangerous because it is dark in that parking lot," one victim of car larceny said. Postal inspectors say they are currently investigating the break-ins and have asked anyone with information to contact 877-876-2455. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
