Open & Shut Buckhead: Cafe Moulin Rouge to Replace Cafe Intermezzo; Saltyard Opens
The Brookwood openings are bringing down the area's growing vacancy rate.
This week's Open & Shut includes two big openings for Brookwood, which is good because the area has seen its share of recent closures.
Saltyard recently opened in Brookwood near Watershed on Peachtree. It's open seven days a week for dinner and menu items include: ahi tuna carpaccio, raw oysters, ricotta gnocchi, shrooms on toast, grilled octopus. See the full menu here. Once the restaurant gets its liquor license, it will serve wine, craft beer and cocktails. Brunch is also coming soon, according to Eater Atlanta.

Also, Cafe Moulin Rouge is scheduled to open in the former Cafe Intermezzo location in Brookwood. After 25 years, Cafe Intermezzo closed its doors and relocated to Midtown. There isn't much information about Cafe Moulin Rouge, which filed its LLC mid-April, except that it submitted a building application to the City of Atlanta two weeks ago to buildout the former Cafe Intermezzo space, according to What Now Atlanta.
