Open & Shut Buckhead: The Joint Barroom Holds Grand Opening Tuesday

Ritz-Carlton Meeting Space Transformation

The transformation of the 24,000-square-foot meeting space at Buckhead's Ritz-Carlton is now complete after 14 weeks. The hotel revitalized the space, including ballrooms and perfunction space on the second floor as well as board rooms and meeting rooms on the first floor. Read more about the full transformation.

Seven Lamps Restaurant to Open in December

A new restaurant offering craft food and drinks will open at Shops Around Lenox in December. The restaurant, Seven Lamps, is spearheaded by Chef Drew Van Leuvan, former chef of One Midtown Kitchen and Saga.

Seven Lamps will be open for lunch, dinner and even late night hours, offering an array of regionally inspired dishes featuring seasonal ingredients, according to Buckhead Cooking Examiner.

The dinner menu will offer following categories: Iced oysters on the half shell; handmade pastas; artisan cheese and salted, cured & whipped.

The Container Store Opens in New Location

On Saturday, The Container Store opened at its new location near Phipps Plaza at the intersection of Peachtree and Wieuca roads. It was previously located in the plaza at the intersection of Peachtree and Piedmont roads. The new space has a two levels, 28,000 feet and more than 10,000 organizational products

The Joint Barroom Holds Grand Opening Tuesday at 5 p.m.

From the same creators who brought you Tongue & Groove nightclub, comes the "turbo-pub" The Joint Barroom, which opens Tuesday at 5 p.m. right next to the nightclub in Lindbergh City Center.

The Joint is described in a release: "Offering a stylishly informal atmosphere where creative cocktails, simple small plates, great music and exceptional service prevail, The Joint Barroom promises to be an innovative and relaxing cocktail lounge ideal for happy hour get-togethers to late night conversations."
