Police Officers Complete Year 1 of Buckhead Coalition Residency Program to Curtail Crime

The program offers police officers a monetary incentive to live in Buckhead.

Four police officers participating in the Buckhead Coalition’s residency program have reached their one-year anniversary and have renewed for a second year.Β 

In total, the Coalition has provided incentive bonuses to 15 officers who have accepted the request to move into Buckhead. Β  Β 

The total in grants available per officer is $3,000; $1,000 of which is contributed by the Atlanta Police Foundation.Β  Β 

Coalition President Sam Massell describes the program as β€œa win-win for the city, the community, and the Police Department.
