Police Seek ID of Buckhead Bank Robber

The man walked into a SunTrust wearing a camouflage jacket and demanded money from a teller, police said.

Atlanta police are still attempting to identify the man who robbed a bank in Buckhead earlier this week.

Police say that the man in the above images walked into the SunTrust at 3020 Peachtree Road at 12:47 p.m. Tuesday and committed the robbery. Officials did not say whether the man was armed nor did they disclose how much money was taken from the bank.

Surveillance camera footage taken of the robber shows him to be a black male wearing glasses, a camouflaged jacket, and a blue baseball cap.

Additionally, tipsters can contact Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta by calling 404-577-TIPS (8477), texting “CSA Tip” to CRIMES (274637), or by submitting a tip online. All tips can be made anonymously, and tipsters who provide information that leads to arrests and indictments can earn a reward of up to $2,000.
