Police: Woman Steal's Mans Belongings, Then Tases Him

Man was confronting a woman who had taken items from his hotel room when he was tased, according to police.

A man was tased outside a Buckhead Loop hotel by a woman he suspected had just walked out of his hotel room with his belongings, an Atlanta police report claims.

The victim told police he met a woman at a bar off of Roswell Road on the evening of Nov. 18 and had a couple of drinks with her before she suggested they stay in a hotel for the night, said the report.

Once the pair arrived at the Marriot Hotel on the Buckhead Loop, the woman said she wanted to bathe the man, according to the report. The woman suggested the man go in the bathroom and start the bath, and she would come in shortly thereafter.

The man immediately suspected a setup, so he hid his belongings in a dresser while he was undressing. While he was in the bathroom, he heard the door open and shut. He went to check on his belongings and discovered they were missing, the report said.

The man called down to the front desk asking hotel staff to keep her from leaving, but when he got downstairs he learned she was already across the street. He ran outside and confronted her outside a green Chevrolet Impala, according to the report.
