  1. Buckhead abortion clinics remain open despite a state abortion law. The clinics are referring women to North Carolina and Florida to receive abortion services. Many Southern states are reportedly struggling to handle the influx of new patients. ( The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
  2. More political figures are stopping in Georgia in anticipation of the midterm elections. U.S. Senator Ted Cruz will be speaking at Westin Buckhead's Truth and Courage PAC conference tomorrow. U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will be attending a private event on Sep. 1 at a Buckhead resident's home. The midterm election is on Nov. 8. Click to register to vote. (CBS46)
  3. A Friday morning Buckhead shooting has left one individual injured and another dead. The incident occurred at Prominence Apartment in the 3600 block of Lenox Road around 2:00 a.m. According to detectives, the double shooting appears to be in connection to a drug-related robbery. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the Atlanta Police Department. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
