Cars Stolen From Buckhead Restaurant (Update)

The cars were stolen out of the valet parking lot at a high-end Buckhead dining establishment Monday night, according to police.

Atlanta police are searching forΒ the people who stole several vehicles from a valet parking lot of a Buckhead dining establishment Monday night, according to an incident report.

Four vehicles, including a Range Rover, were stolen from the valet area of St. Cecilia on Peachtree Road between 7:39 and 8 p.m., the report said. Six black men entered the parking garage after two of the victims had sat down for their meals. One of the black males was wearing a red sweatshirt, black beanie and the others 5 black males were dressed in all black.

A Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Range Rover were seen on security camera footage driving through the stop arm of the parking garage and turning north onto Peachtree Road, according to the report. The owner of the Range Rover told FOX 5 Atlanta that he left computers and passports inside the vehicle when it was stolen.

Employees told police on the night of the thefts that they were very busy and had left the keys of each vehicle in their respective ignitions, but follow-up interviews showed that the keys were not left in the vehicles and instead handed off to managers.

The stolen Lexus was recovered outside a wings restaurant on Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard the day after it was stolen, according to another report.
