Smash-and-Grab Thieves Hit The North Face
The Buckhead store was burglarized at approximately 5 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

Atlanta police are investigating a Tuesday morning smash and grab burglary in Buckhead that may have involved up to five people, according to an incident report.
Police responded to The North Face store on West Paces Ferry Road at roughly 5 a.m. after someone threw a rock through a glass window and went inside. A security guard told a 911 dispatcher that he saw four to five people ransacking the store then flee the scene in a blue station wagon.
Units monitoring a location on Center Street noticed people unloading boxes from a station wagon in front of one of the buildings there. Further officers were dispatched and discovered a blue station wagon with a Rhode Island license plate. The vehicle had been reported stolen, the incident report says.
