Stanley Cup Ring Stolen from Buckhead Home and More Police Reports

Police have released the latest crime data for Zone 2, which includes Buckhead

Atlanta police have released their latest weekly crime report for Zone 2, the zone which includes Buckhead.

The report counts nine robberies, an aggravated assault, eight residential burglaries, two commercial burglaries, 48 larcenies from vehicle, 42 other larcenies, and 12 auto thefts between Oct. 18 and Oct. 24. Some of the more noteworthy incidents are as follows:

  • On Oct. 20, the victim was walking towards her apartment in the Collier Ridge complex when a black male with dreads stopped her and asked if she had anything in her bag. When the victim responded β€œNo”, he pointed a black gun and demanded her purse. The victim gave up $40 while the suspect had the gun pointed towards her throat and said, β€œOh, you can go.”
  • On Oct. 22, The victim had dropped off an Uber customer at 1745 Peachtree St. and was sitting in his vehicle when a white male wearing a black hoodie and a ski mask approached the driver’s side door, pointed a black handgun and said β€œGive me all your money.” The victim attempted to drive forward and the suspect ran north on Peachtree Street with no property.
  • On Oct. 21, the back door of a home in the 3800 block of Beechwood Drive was kicked in. A Stihl circular saw, DeWalt Saws-All, Sears’s circular saw, Sears socket set, Sears Air Compressor, 1978 NHL Stanley Cup Championship ring, a black diamond cufflink and a Lenovo laptop were taken. The victim believes someone that responded to his Craigslist AD possibly committed the burglary.
  • On Oct. 19, Units responded to a burglary in progress call from a witness at Never Without at 1750 Commerce Drive. Brick used to shatter front door glass. Three televisions were taken.
  • On Oct. 22, a vehicle was broken into at a parking lot at 1391 Collier Rd. Window broken. A Movado watch, earrings, a set of Calloway golf clubs, a pair of Burberry golf shoes, cologne, a wallet, Versace sunglasses and a Cannon 300 MM lens were taken.
  • On Oct. 19, a black male entered the Lenox Square Ralph Lauren location and removed seven sweaters worth $2786.00 from the location.
