Here are the top three stories today in Buckhead:

1. Atlanta police reported a death on a busy road by a Buckhead hotel yesterday. Officers responded to the Embassy Suites hotel at 3285 Peachtree Road on Friday. Investigators have determined the individual died by suicide. The person's identity has not yet been released. (11Alive.com WXIA)
2. The Knife Modern Mediterranean is opening later this month in Buckhead. The Mediterranean-themed restaurant will begin serving customers on Aug. 17 at 3162 Piedmont Road NE.
