Suspect Jumps 6-Stories From Parking Deck In Metro Atlanta: Reports
A suspect jumped from a Buckhead parking deck during a car break-in to escape Atlanta police.
BUCKHEAD, GA — A suspect who jumped six stories off of a parking deck in Buckhead is in the hospital, according to multiple reports.
Police told WSB-TV that shortly before 3 a.m. Friday three men were breaking into the parking deck at the Icon Buckhead Apartments on Peachtree Road. Officers arrived to investigate reports of break-ins and started chasing the men.
According to WAGA-TV, one of the male teens driving slammed into the police car. One teen riding in the car got out and jumped from the sixth-floor parking deck. He fell about 50 feet and landed on the sidewalk, the news station reported.
