Thieves Hit Buckhead Jewelry Store Again
Smash-and-grab burglars victimize Elif Fine Jewelry early Tuesday morning.
Atlanta police say a Buckhead jewelry store that was robbed of more than $5 million in merchandise last November was victimized by a smash-and-grab burglary early Tuesday.
According to Sgt. Greg Lyon, at around 1 a.m., thieves used a tire tool to break the front window and then make off with approximately $5,000 worth of jewelry from Elif Fine Jewelry on Paces Ferry Place.
A surveillance camera showed the suspects use a light color, four-door vehicle to drive up and park on the street in front of the business before the crime.

Both suspects were wearing gloves and masks according to Lyon. The first was described as a black male, standing between 6 feet and 6-foot-3 and wearing white coveralls. The other was described as a black male, standing between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8 and wearing blue jeans and dark jack.
On Nov. 7, 2013, three people entered the same store in the late morning hours with guns in hand, faces covered and wearing gloves. The robbers forced the two employees to the floor at gunpoint before making off with the jewelry.
