Three Men Indicted In Buckhead Crime Spree
The spree cvaused more than $125,000 in property damage.
ATLANTA -- The Fulton County District Attorney's office announced late Tuesday afternoon that three men have been indicted in connection with a Buckhead crime spree that caused more than $125,000 in property damage. Jaquantay Campbell., Michael Hill, 17, and Dundrea Phillips, 27, were indicted on 41 counts by a Fulton County grand jury.
In January 2019, police received numerous complaints from residents of burglaries, entering automobile, and auto theft crimes. In total, eight vehicles were stolen, seven burglaries occurred, and there were nine entering automobile crimes reported in Zone 2 between January 15-30. In one of the cases, on Jan. 25, a homeowner was allegedly assaulted by Hill when she attempted to stop the theft of her vehicle.
On Jan. 30, police located Campbell and Hill in East Point using vehicle tracking technology. The two defendants were arrested after allegedly fleeing on foot from police. Campbell is a convicted felon who was on probation at the time of his arrest and was allegedly in possession of a stolen gun. Phillips was later arrested allegedly in possession of stolen items from the crime spree.

Among the charges Campbell, Hill, and Phillips are facing are aggravated assault, burglary, theft by taking, entering automobile, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
