Two Arrested In Buckhead Rolls Royce Carjacking
The suspects allegedly stole a Rolls Royce from the Buckhead Embassy Suites.
ATLANTA -- Two men have been arrested in connection with a carjacking that happened outside a Buckhead Embassy Suites hotel. A Rolls Royce was stolen from the hotel's valet on April 2. Police later spotted the car near Fairburn Road and Benjamin E. Mays Drive.
After a brief police chase, the suspects abandoned the vehicle near Boulder Park and MLK Jr. Drive on foot, but were later apprehended.
Police have charged Jauvoric Griffin, 19, and Shemar Woods, 17, with armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and hijacking of a motor vehicle.
