Uber Rider Dies In Buckhead Targeted Shooting

BUCKHEAD, GA — A 30-year-old woman was shot to death Tuesday while riding in an Uber around 4:30 a.m. in the 700 block of Lindbergh Drive, according to Atlanta Police and Atlanta News First.

Police said officers found the woman with multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Atlanta News First reported the shooting was a targeted one and that more than one gun had been fired.

Atlanta Police's homicide detectives are investigating the case.
