What's Open, Closed On Good Friday, Easter In Buckhead

BUCKHEAD, GA — Good Friday is April 15 this year, followed by Easter on Sunday. Some places will be closed in Fulton County to honor Good Friday.

Good Friday is the Friday before Easter, and the day Christians annually observe the commemoration of the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Here's a look at what's open and closed in Buckhead on Good Friday:

• Fulton County facilities and offices are open on Friday.
• Fulton County public safety services are available 365 days per year.
• Garbage pick up in Buckhead will not be impacted.
• Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA): All schedules will run as normal.
• The Fulton County Public Library System will be closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
• Fulton County Schools will be open.
• Municipal offices for Buckhead will be open on Friday.
• Post offices: USPS offices will be open on Good Friday and Easter. UPS and FedEx will also be open on Good Friday, but both will be closed on Easter.
