Gwinnett Medical Hosts Free Concussion Baseline Testing Day
Are you and your family up to date with your concussion baselines? If not, register for this important free event on August 15.
Does your child have an up-to-date concussion baseline profile? How about you? If not, join Gwinnett Medical Center’s Concussion Institute and Gwinnett County Public Schools on August 15 for a FREE event – Concussion Baseline Testing Day!
Concussions are a serious type of brain injury caused by a jolt, blow or just a simple bump to the head that changes the way the brain normally works. Establishing a baseline profile of how the brain functions pre-injury is imperative in diagnosing and treating concussions. That’s why Gwinnett Medical Center - the leader in concussion treatment in the Southeast - and Gwinnett County Public Schools invite you to Concussion Baseline Testing Day, a FREE day of baseline testing at 19 Gwinnett County high schools on August 15, 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. This event is open to everyone ages 12 and up.
Registration is required and space is limited. Please visit www.gmc-rsvp.org to register and for additional information.
